Our rising 6th graders at GCMS are invited to our annual "CUBS TO BRUINS" Day Camp-a one-day mini transitional summer enrichment program for Grays Creek Middle rising 6th-grade students sponsored by the United Way Youth  Growth Stock Fund Grant.  I highly encourage your child to take advantage of this educational opportunity!

This year, the program will take place on August 4th from 7:30 am to 2:40 pm at Grays Creek Middle School. While this camp is for 6th-grade students only, parents are invited to attend the 6th-grade Open House on August 19th (Parents may attend either Open House session from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm  or 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.)

During the camp, students will receive procedures to acclimate them to “ A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MIDDLE SCHOOL BRUIN” through SEL and team-building activities, including school-wide expectations, locker use, class change, and more.  All camp supplies, snacks, and lunch will be provided; however, transportation is not available. Students will not need to bring anything to the camp other than their excitement to learn!

Student drop-off begins from 7:00 am to 7:20 am in the front parking lot. If your child cannot take advantage of this educational opportunity, this opportunity will be awarded to another student.

We will have a PARENT VIRTUAL ORIENTATION  on Monday  July 27, 2026 from 11:30am-12pm (15 minute presentation with Q&A). Link will also be emailed once registration is completed.
